The representative of Hoffenheim forward Fisnik Asllani has confirmed that Spanish football giants Barcelona have initiated contact regarding his client. This development comes as Barcelona actively seeks to bolster its attacking options for the upcoming season.
Speculation is rife that Robert Lewandowski may depart from the Camp Nou this summer, while the future of Ferran Torres also remains uncertain. Consequently, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco and the club’s hierarchy are reportedly compiling a list of potential reinforcements for the centre-forward position.
It has now been revealed that Fisnik Asllani is among the players on this shortlist. Ayman Dahmani, Asllani’s agent, stated in a recent interview, “Barcelona’s interest in the player is still valid, and there has been contact from the Catalan club.”
Asllani, a 22-year-old Kosovo international, has had a productive season with Hoffenheim, contributing significantly with nine goals and eight assists across 28 club appearances.
