Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa has unequivocally expressed his condemnation of individuals leaking information from within the club’s inner workings. He emphasized the gravity of such actions, referring to them as a profound act of disloyalty.
Recent weeks have seen numerous internal affairs at Real Madrid dominate football media discussions globally. This heightened attention stems from a series of leaked accounts detailing behind-the-scenes conflicts and altercations involving players, staff, and others.
The situation escalated significantly on Thursday with reports of a physical altercation in the dressing room between Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni becoming public knowledge. The aftermath of this incident reportedly led to Valverde sustaining a visible injury to his head, requiring medical attention and hospital treatment, which further damaged the club’s reputation.
Addressing reporters on Saturday, Arbeloa was directly questioned about the ongoing issue of internal leaks from the Valdebebas training facility. His response was notably stern and unambiguous.
“I will reiterate my stance, as perhaps my previous statement was not sufficiently clear: disseminating information that occurs within the locker room constitutes a betrayal of Real Madrid. Of this crest,” Arbeloa declared.
