Atlético Madrid icon Antoine Griezmann has finalized an agreement for his departure from the club this summer. Reports confirm the French star is poised to sign with Major League Soccer side Orlando City.
Speculation has long linked the seasoned forward with a move to the United States as he approaches the latter stages of his distinguished career. While a mid-season transfer in January was considered, Griezmann ultimately decided to see out the current campaign in Spain.
However, his move to the MLS is now confirmed for the summer. Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced: “Antoine Griezmann to Orlando City, here we go! Verbal agreement in place for French star to join MLS side. Agreement on deal for July 2026, free transfer from Atlético.”
