Barcelona has reportedly initiated contact regarding Hoffenheim and Kosovo international forward Fisnik Asllani, who is 23 years old. Ayman Dahmani, the player’s representative, confirmed the validity of Barcelona’s interest and the direct communication from the Catalan club.
Asllani, who initially joined Hoffenheim in 2020, significantly elevated his profile during a successful loan spell last season at 2. Bundesliga side Elversberg. There, he impressively scored 18 goals in 33 matches, contributing to their promotion push. Following his return to Hoffenheim, the 23-year-old has maintained his strong form, netting eight goals in 26 Bundesliga appearances this season as Hoffenheim contends for a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
His consistent performances have attracted attention from several top European clubs, including Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. However, Barcelona appears to be leading the race to secure his services. Any potential transfer for Asllani would likely involve Barcelona activating his reported €30 million release clause.
