Bayern Munich is looking to secure the permanent signing of 18-year-old Senegalese attacking midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye. Ndiaye initially joined the German club on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa in January 2026 as part of Bayern’s Red&Gold Football initiative aimed at developing international talent. This collaboration also involved a stint with Los Angeles FC.
Before returning to Munich in January, Ndiaye underwent a trial period in Munich and also spent time with Grasshoppers Zurich, participating in a friendly match against Vincent Kompany’s team. Following a recovery from injury, the talented midfielder made his Bundesliga debut on Matchday 29, coming on as a substitute for Jamal Musiala in Bayern’s impressive victory against St. Pauli.
According to reports, the Bavarian giants are now considering a permanent transfer for the Senegalese player. Furthermore, it is suggested that a loan spell might be an option to ensure Ndiaye gets adequate playing time, a prospect that has received praise from Vincent Kompany.
“We are excited about his personality,” stated Kompany. “He has demonstrated that he is one of the talents we nurture within Bayern’s youth academy. Things are progressing well for him.”
