1. Jean-Mattéo Bahoya (Eintracht Frankfurt), 37.16 km/h
The French youth international, playing as a winger for Frankfurt, became the fastest player recorded in Bundesliga history (since data tracking began in 2011/12). He hit his peak speed of 37.16 km/h while attempting to connect with Hugo Ekitiké during a swift counter-attack. This notable moment occurred in the Matchday 26 fixture against Bochum, a game which Eintracht won 3-1 and where Bahoya also netted his first ever Bundesliga goal.
2. Loïs Openda (RB Leipzig), 36.86 km/h

Heidenheim`s impact substitute reached the top of the speed standings on two occasions during the recently concluded season: first against Augsburg on Matchday 2, and then again by achieving a top speed of 36.82 km/h in the game against champions Bayern Munich on Matchday 13.
4. Gerrit Holtmann (Bochum), 36.74 km/h
Matchday 9 was generally one to forget for Bochum, as they suffered a significant defeat against an inspired Eintracht Frankfurt side featuring Hugo Ekitiké. However, that match saw Holtmann briefly surpass Conteh to claim the title of the Bundesliga`s fastest player. The 30-year-old`s reign at the top, however, proved to be short-lived.
5. Oliver Burke (Union Berlin), 36.72 km/h
Averaging an impressive 51 sprints per match for his previous club, Werder Bremen, during the 2024/25 season, it`s hardly a shock that the adaptable Scottish forward sprinted his way into the top five on this list. Complementing his explosive runs with five goals, 30 shots, and 15 crosses, Union Berlin was sufficiently impressed to secure Burke`s signature ahead of the new campaign.
