Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly reached an agreement to sign a very fast England youth international player. According to The Athletic, the club is set to bring in this promising young talent.

Tottenham and Frank Making Transfer Moves

New manager Thomas Frank is now at the helm, tasked with improving Tottenham`s performance in the Premier League. The club has already shown support for Frank in the transfer market, notably making Mathys Tel`s move permanent.

Tel spent the 2024/25 season on loan at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and has now completed a £30 million permanent transfer from Bayern Munich. This deal was reportedly approved by Frank himself. Speaking after Tel`s signing, Frank shared his enthusiasm:

`Very, very excited about Mathys signing with a permanent deal. I think he`s a very talented player that can play across the front four positions. He`s a goalscorer that we can develop even further to be more consistent in his all-round game but also to more consistently land in the right positions in the box. So I`m looking forward to it.`

Additionally, J League talent Kota Takai is expected to join Spurs this summer, with Tottenham agreeing to a £5 million deal for the 20-year-old Japanese defender.

Tottenham hopes youngsters like Takai will challenge for a place in the first team, following the path of players such as Lucas Bergvall, Destiny Udogie, and Pape Sarr. It appears another exciting young player is also on his way to the club this summer.

Tottenham Agree Deal for England Youth International

As reported by The Athletic, Tottenham has also finalized an agreement to sign teenage forward Oliver Boast from Leeds United.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Described as one of Leeds` most valuable academy assets, Boast has accepted the move to Spurs. Tottenham and Daniel Levy are prepared to pay a seven-figure fee for the 16-year-old, avoiding the need for a tribunal.

Boast was previously part of Leeds` academy setup. He is characterized as a modern number nine capable of playing as a lone striker, with his exceptional speed noted as one of his key strengths, enabling him to make runs behind opposing defenses.

According to Transfermarkt statistics, Boast scored 10 goals in 21 appearances for Leeds` youth teams last season. He is expected to join Spurs` U18 side for the 2025/26 season, where he will aim to impress manager Frank and potentially integrate into the first-team setup in the coming years.
