Germany has officially announced its squad for the upcoming March international break, which serves as the final selection before the highly anticipated World Cup. Head coach Julian Nagelsmann’s choices feature a strong contingent of Bayern Munich players, alongside some exciting new talents and notable omissions.
Among the fresh faces, young talents Jonas Urbig and Lennart Karl have received their first-ever senior call-ups to the national team. However, Jamal Musiala, despite recent positive comments from Nagelsmann, was not included in this latest squad selection.
The team also sees the return of several players who have been absent from the national setup for a significant period. Kai Havertz, Kevin Schade, Anton Stach, and Josha Vagnoman are all back in contention. Perhaps the most surprising decision is the omission of Angelo Stiller from the midfield.
