La Liga club Getafe has officially confirmed the permanent acquisition of attacker Martín Satriano, following his impactful loan spell from Olympique Lyonnais.
The versatile Uruguayan forward initially joined Getafe in the January transfer window on a six-month loan deal from the French side. Satriano quickly became an instant hit, impressing fans and management alike with his dynamic performances on the pitch.
In just 10 appearances for the Azulones, Satriano has already found the back of the net three times. His most notable contribution was scoring the sensational winning goal in a crucial 1-0 victory against Spanish giants Real Madrid, a moment that highlighted his immediate impact.
His rapid success and significant contributions have proven more than enough to convince the club’s management at the Estadio Coliseum to secure his services for the long term. Getafe announced the agreement via their official social media channels, confirming that a deal was successfully reached with Olympique Lyonnais for Satriano’s full transfer.
The official statement confirmed that the Uruguayan forward has signed a contract for the remainder of the current season, along with an additional four years, solidifying his future with the Madrid-based club and establishing him as a key part of their attacking strategy.
