A group of five first-team stars at La Liga giants Real Madrid are expected to arrive in the Spanish capital early next week to commence their pre-season preparations.
The players in question are Aurélien Tchouaméni, Marc Cucurella, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, and Ibrahima Konaté. While the majority of Real Madrid's squad has been back at Valdebebas for some time, working under new head coach José Mourinho to build fitness for the upcoming season, these five have been absent.
Their extended break was due to their participation in the World Cup semi-finals. Consequently, Tchouaméni, Bellingham, Mbappé, Cucurella, and Konaté were granted additional time before reporting back. Notably, Cucurella and Konaté, having recently transferred, have yet to train with the team at Valdebebas.
However, this situation is about to change. According to reports from Melchor Ruiz of Cope, a respected insider for the club, "On Monday, Mourinho expects to have the 5 remaining World Cup players who are missing."
