It was rumored that Roberto De Zerbi's side, in their search for versatile defensive reinforcements, had put Koundé's name on their priority list. However, these transfer links have been quickly debunked. Fabrizio Romano, a reputable transfer market insider, has confirmed that there is no substance to these rumors.
"There’s nothing between Jules Koundé and Tottenham despite the links in the recent hours," Romano stated. "No interest, no negotiations."
Despite a somewhat inconsistent season at the Spotify Camp Nou, it is considered highly probable that Koundé will remain a Barcelona player once the summer transfer window closes.
