Tottenham Hotspur's Cristian Romero is reportedly postponing a definitive decision regarding his future, as the Argentine defender is determined to secure a transfer to Barcelona under manager Hansi Flick.

Romero is widely anticipated to depart the North London club this summer, having signaled his intent to move on. Tottenham has set a valuation of approximately €40 million for the player.

Several clubs have reportedly expressed interest in signing Romero. These include Inter Milan and Arsenal, but Atlético Madrid, managed by Diego Simeone, is currently considered the frontrunner to complete a deal.

Despite this interest, the 28-year-old remains focused on a move to another prominent Spanish club.

According to Mundo Deportivo, "The Argentine international center-back has been holding off on his final decision, waiting to see what moves FC Barcelona might make, especially after Ronald Araujo’s departure to Liverpool."

Barcelona currently does not view Romero's signing as a top priority, with their focus on acquiring Rodri and a new centre-forward. However, Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, is known to be an admirer and has held discussions with Romero's representatives.
