Hansi Flick’s squad secured their latest Spanish league championship on Sunday evening following a 2-0 victory against none other than Real Madrid. In the aftermath of the match, the prodigious Lamine Yamal took to social media to playfully taunt Jude Bellingham.
This follows an earlier incident in October where the English midfielder had posted “talk is cheap” on Instagram after Real Madrid’s victory in El Clásico, in response to controversies surrounding the Barcelona number 10. Lamine Yamal retaliated by using the same phrase on his own Instagram account.
On Monday evening, during Barcelona’s open-top bus parade through Catalunya’s capital, Lamine Yamal, microphone in hand, reiterated his message to the cheering crowd: “Don’t forget that talk is cheap!”
