Interestingly, club legend Paul Scholes has publicly stated his belief that Manchester United should retain Rasmus Hojlund beyond the current transfer window. This comes despite the striker`s modest goal return in the Premier League last season, where he scored only four times.
During an appearance on The Overlap, Scholes argued that Hojlund requires additional support in attack and cannot be solely relied upon to lead the line for United at the age of just 22.

Amorim is reportedly very eager to reunite with Gyokeres, having previously managed him at Sporting. The initial approach is understood to be aimed at assessing the feasibility of a transfer this summer.
It`s reported that the United manager was initially dissatisfied with Liam Delap being identified as a primary striker target. With Delap having since joined Chelsea, Gyokeres appears to have risen on the shortlist. The Swedish international is reportedly available for a fee of £59m.
