The Serie A club expressed interest in signing Sancho last summer, and contact between the club and the player`s representatives has continued. Juventus have been in discussions with Sancho`s entourage, and their general manager, Damien Comolli, is now exploring ways to incorporate a player into the transfer to facilitate the move.
This is where Luiz becomes a possibility. The midfielder, who has reportedly struggled since joining the Turin club, could be a player United are open to taking in exchange for Sancho`s departure. Luiz, previously described as “world-class” by former teammate John McGinn, made only 19 appearances in Serie A last season, just three of which were starts.
