Ajax has identified Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos as a potential transfer target for the upcoming summer window.
Ceballos, a former Arsenal player, is widely anticipated to depart the Bernabéu this summer, marking the end of his tenure with the Spanish giants.
The 29-year-old has had a challenging season, with a combination of injuries and intense competition for places limiting him to just four La Liga starts.
Given Real Madrid’s likely plans to reinforce their midfield for the next campaign, Ceballos is considered surplus to requirements.
Despite his limited playing time, the Spaniard remains highly regarded across Europe, and is expected to attract significant interest from multiple clubs.
Recent reports have revealed one of the clubs keen on acquiring his services.
According to football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
“Dani Ceballos is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer, with clubs already in contact to prepare proposals. Ajax and two other clubs are interested in Ceballos.”
