Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has issued a clarification regarding a recent Instagram story post concerning the club’s interim head coach, Michael Carrick.
Scholes stated emphatically that the post, which had attracted attention and speculation, was “in no way intended to be offensive” towards his former team-mate. He emphasized that any interpretation of it as an attack or criticism of Carrick was a misunderstanding of his intentions.
