Sergio Ramos Becomes Owner of Sevilla FC

Legendary Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos has reached an agreement to take ownership of his beloved Sevilla club.

On Tuesday, details regarding the financial aspects of this significant acquisition emerged online.

Ramos, currently a free agent after departing from Mexican side Monterrey, has not yet announced his retirement from playing.

However, the 40-year-old defender appears to be looking towards a future deeply involved in the sport.

Recent reports have been circulating about a potential takeover bid for Ramos’s boyhood club, Sevilla, spearheaded by the player himself.

As confirmed, an agreement has now been successfully established between the involved parties.

According to journalist and market insider Ben Jacobs:

“Five Eleven Capital, under the leadership of Sergio Ramos, has finalized an agreement to acquire Sevilla after a period of exclusivity. The sale price is reported to be in excess of €400 million.”
