Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the charge to sign Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi on a free transfer next summer. According to Argentine outlet Ole, Spurs are making the ‘strongest push’ to secure the 6ft 1in defender.
Senesi initially gained recognition in his home country during his time with Argentine club San Lorenzo. He made 72 appearances for San Lorenzo before making his move to European football.
This development suggests that Tottenham are looking to strengthen their defensive options with a potentially cost-effective acquisition, as Senesi’s contract with Bournemouth is set to expire next summer, allowing him to move on a free transfer.
