Президент 1. FC Köln Йорн Штоббе подтвердил, что клуб Бундеслиги готов сделать Саиду Эль Мала улучшенное предложение о контракте, несмотря на интерес со стороны Премьер-лиги.

1. FC Köln President Jörn Stobbe has confirmed the Bundesliga side’s intention to present Saïd El Mala with an improved contract offer, despite attracting interest from the Premier League.
“Of course, we will extend an offer to him through our network – not solely financial, but also in other facets,” Stobbe told L’Immo, as reported by Geissblog. “We can provide him with an environment conducive to wonderful development. He is a very young player, highly talented, and has already demonstrated this.”
El Mala has had a notable debut season in Germany’s top flight in 2025/26, netting 11 goals and contributing four assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances for the Billy Goats. This performance has garnered attention from Brighton and Hove Albion, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.
According to Geissblog, Köln acknowledges that retaining El Mala indefinitely may be challenging. However, the club is not under pressure to sell the youngster this summer, although a final decision is pending, with a potential sale being considered if the right price is offered.
As previously reported, El Mala’s current market valuation is €50 million.
