Following their Champions League exit, supporters of Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid have expressed a strong desire to see one of their midfielders depart the club this summer.
The player in question is Eduardo Camavinga.
The French international had a forgettable evening on the continental stage.
Real Madrid recently participated in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich in Germany.
Camavinga began the match on the bench and was brought into the game in the second half at the Allianz Arena.
However, the former Rennes player’s involvement proved costly for his teammates.
During the 4-3 defeat in Munich, Camavinga received two yellow cards in quick succession, the second of which was considered unnecessary.
This led to Bayern equalizing shortly after, and ultimately sealed Real Madrid’s elimination deep into stoppage time.
It appears the club’s fanbase has been unforgiving since the match.
Many have taken to social media platforms to demand Camavinga’s sale once the summer transfer window opens.
