Aston Villa has reportedly initiated a transfer pursuit for a key defender of La Liga champions Barcelona. According to Diario Sport, referencing reports from El Chiringuito TV, the player in question is Alejandro Balde.
The full-back, Balde, has been frequently associated with a potential departure from Spotify Camp Nou during the current summer transfer window. Concerns have been raised about his recent performance levels, leading to speculation that Barcelona might be open to a sale if a suitable offer is received.
As reported by José Álvarez of El Chiringuito TV, Aston Villa has submitted a substantial proposal: “Alejandro Balde has an offer from Aston Villa, who can pay up to 50 million euros for him. The player would also have almost unrejectable conditions.”
