German powerhouse Bayern Munich has sent a clear and firm message to Real Madrid concerning their reported interest in Michael Olise.
This comes as speculation intensifies that Real Madrid is preparing a substantial offer for the French international winger.
Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has identified Olise as a prime target to bolster the team’s attacking lineup for the upcoming season, and is reportedly ready to table a €150 million bid.
However, recent statements from Munich suggest that Pérez’s hopes of acquiring Olise may be dashed.
Bayern president Herbert Hainer addressed the ongoing rumors surrounding his star winger in an interview with German outlet BILD, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Hainer was unequivocal in his stance:
“If Florentino Pérez wishes to submit an offer for Olise to us – which has not occurred yet – he can spare himself the effort. Michael Olise is a contracted player of FC Bayern on a long-term deal. We are not a selling club.”
