Hoffenheim Reaches Verbal Agreements for Young Midfielders Nathan De Cat and Kodai Sano

Hoffenheim has reportedly secured verbal agreements for two promising young midfielders: Nathan De Cat from Anderlecht and Kodai Sano from Nijmegen. According to reports from Sky Germany, both players have consented to personal terms, with contracts extending until 2031.

The German club is now engaged in negotiations with the respective clubs to finalize the transfers. Hoffenheim’s intention is to welcome at least one of these talents to the squad this summer.

Seventeen-year-old De Cat has already made a significant impact at Anderlecht, featuring in 36 matches in the Belgian Pro League last season. During this time, he contributed two goals and four assists. He has progressed through the youth ranks to become a consistent first-team player, and is widely regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in his position.

Sano, who has a contract with Nijmegen until 2028, has been a vital player in the midfield for the Eredivisie side over the past three seasons. While his current contract is in place, it is anticipated that he will eventually move to Hoffenheim.
