A trio of key Real Madrid first-team players have voluntarily ended their summer breaks ahead of schedule to rejoin pre-season training. This proactive decision is seen as a move to make a strong initial impression on new head coach José Mourinho.

While most of the star-studded Real Madrid squad has already commenced their preparations for the upcoming season at Valdebebas, five players were granted extended leave due to their participation in the World Cup.

These five players, including Marc Cucurella, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Ibrahima Konaté, and Aurélien Tchouaméni, who reached the semi-finals of the tournament, were initially scheduled to return to Madrid on Wednesday, August 12th.

However, defying their extended break, three of these players have now reported back for training earlier than expected.

Mbappé, Konaté, and Cucurella were spotted at Valdebebas this morning, signaling their dedication and commitment to the team for the upcoming season.
