Sevilla, a Spanish football club, are among several teams considering the acquisition of Bamba Dieng as a free agent this summer. This potential move comes as the club actively seeks to strengthen its offensive capabilities.
Dieng presents an attractive market opportunity across Europe. The striker enjoyed a successful season in France, scoring 16 goals in 26 appearances for Lorient across all competitions.
However, following a failure to agree on contract renewal terms, Dieng will become a free agent at the end of the month. This situation has understandably generated significant interest from clubs eager to secure his services. The Senegalese international is expected to make a final decision on his future after his country’s World Cup campaign concludes.
As previously mentioned, Sevilla are on the list of clubs preparing offers for Dieng. According to Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla’s sporting management is awaiting player sales, with offers for Rubén Vargas and Akor Adams on the table, and is exploring the option of signing Dieng. This move would necessitate an improvement on his current salary of one million euros in France, along with a signing bonus.
