Young Real Madrid player Arda Güler has accomplished a significant feat in the club’s history.
This achievement came during Los Blancos’ recent outing against Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid was competing in a crucial Champions League quarter-final second-leg match at the Allianz Arena.
Arda Güler was included in the starting lineup, playing in a midfield role.
The 19-year-old quickly made his presence felt.
Güler opened the scoring with an impressive left-footed shot from outside the penalty area.
He then doubled his tally shortly after, this time scoring from a free-kick.
In doing so, the former Fenerbahçe prodigy etched his name into Real Madrid’s record books.
According to statistics provided by Squawka:
“Arda Güler is only the third Real Madrid player to score two or more goals from outside the box in a Champions League game.”
The other two players to have achieved this are Roberto Carlos and Cristiano Ronaldo.
