Eintracht Frankfurt Nearing Agreement for Noël Aséko

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly on the verge of a verbal agreement to sign 20-year-old midfielder Noël Aséko. The young German international, who has spent the past two seasons on loan at 2. Bundesliga club Hannover, has attracted interest from Frankfurt. The club is confident they can secure his signature despite potential competition from abroad.

However, a significant hurdle remains in the form of Bayern Munich. The Bavarian giants are considering integrating Aséko into their first-team squad for the upcoming season and have yet to make a definitive decision regarding his future. Aséko’s versatility, capable of playing defensive midfield, right midfield, and right wing-back, makes him an attractive prospect for Bayern.

Should Bayern decide to part ways with the player, they are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of €10 million to €12 million. The existing strong relationship between Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl and Eintracht’s counterpart Markus Krösche is believed to be a positive factor that could facilitate smooth negotiations between the two clubs.
