Espanyol Striker Roberto Fernández on Bundesliga Clubs' Radar
Multiple Bundesliga clubs have expressed interest in signing Espanyol forward Roberto Fernández for next season. Journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on the situation.
Fernández, 24, is enjoying a strong start to the current campaign, scoring six goals in seven La Liga matches for Espanyol.
His impressive form earned him his first call-up to the Spanish national team last month. He played a significant role in Spain's recent 3-1 victory over Czechia.
This performance has reportedly caught the eye of major Spanish clubs regarding a future transfer. The interest now appears to extend beyond Spain.
According to Sky's Florian Plettenberg:
"Roberto Fernández, one to watch over the next two transfer windows. The 24 y/o striker has made his Spain debut and enjoyed a 6-goal start with Espanyol in LaLiga. Under contract until 2031. First Bundesliga clubs have already registered their interest for next summer."
