Juanlu was a significant contributor for Sevilla during the 2025/26 season, appearing in 32 of their 38 league matches. The 22-year-old demonstrated remarkable versatility throughout the campaign, effectively playing in multiple positions, including right-back, winger, and even midfielder.
His impressive performances have clearly attracted the attention of Bournemouth. According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Cherries, who recently secured a deal for Benfica's António Silva, are now in 'advanced' negotiations with Sevilla for Juanlu.
Romano reported: "Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Juanlu in a surprise deal from Sevilla. The Spanish right-back has already received the contract proposal."
