Merlin Röhl Joins Everton Permanently

Merlin Röhl has officially become an Everton player on a permanent basis. The transfer from Freiburg is reportedly worth €25 million, following his successful loan spell at The Toffees last season.

Röhl initially joined Freiburg from Ingolstadt in 2022 for €2.9 million. He spent three seasons in the Bundesliga, accumulating 48 appearances before his loan move to the Premier League. During his time with Everton, he made a positive impression under manager David Moyes.

In their official announcement, Everton confirmed that Röhl has signed a three-year contract, securing his presence at the club until June 2029.
